Now studying toward ACA

I'm Victor. I'm 21, an audit apprentice at Forvis Mazars, and I tutor AAT students who don't want to learn from someone who hasn't sat the exam in twenty years.

I sat AAT Level 4 recently. The papers are still fresh — the bits that catch people out, the wording examiners use, the topics that always come up. I haven't had time to forget what it feels like to be on the other side of the desk.

I came to this country at 7 with no English and no family already here to show us the system. I figured things out the hard way — which is partly why I'm good at explaining them. If you've ever felt like a textbook is written for someone who already gets it, you'll know what I mean.

I work with apprentices at other firms, college students, and self-studiers. I don't tutor anyone at Forvis Mazars to keep things clean.

What I teach

The papers I know cold.

A note on honesty: I don't teach the tax papers. Tax wasn't my strength and you deserve someone who specialises. I'd rather turn you away than waste your money.
